DC / AC Inverter (bộ nghịch lưu, inverter power converter, DC to AC converter) là thiết bị chuyển đổi điện một chiều (DC) từ pin, ắc quy hoặc hệ pin năng lượng mặt trời thành điện xoay chiều (AC output) để cấp nguồn cho các thiết bị điện tiêu chuẩn. Quá trình thực hiện bằng switching power electronics (MOSFET/IGBT switching), PWM control và transformer/LC filter để tạo dạng sóng AC mong muốn.
Các loại phổ biến: square wave inverter, modified sine wave inverter, pure sine wave inverter; trong đó pure sine wave inverter cho chất lượng điện tốt nhất, phù hợp thiết bị nhạy như motor, audio, thiết bị đo và máy tính. Nhiều bộ nghịch lưu tích hợp charger function (inverter charger), UPS backup, solar inverter (PV inverter), grid-tie inverter.
Chức năng bảo vệ: overvoltage protection (OVP), low battery cutoff, overcurrent protection (OCP), short circuit protection (SCP), thermal protection, soft start, overload protection.
Ứng dụng: hệ điện mặt trời (solar power system), backup điện gia đình, caravan/xe chuyên dụng, UPS cho máy tính và router, thiết bị công nghiệp di động, thiết bị ngoài trời, viễn thông, trạm giám sát từ xa, IoT station.
Thông số quan trọng: input DC voltage (12V/24V/48V), output AC voltage (110/220VAC), output frequency (50/60Hz), continuous power rating, surge power, efficiency, waveform quality (THD), standby consumption.
